Assistant Director - A Thousand Splendid Suns (Deadline for applications: Friday 22 November at 12 noon)
The Rep are looking for an Assistant Director for our upcoming co-production of A Thousand Splendid Suns by Ursula Rani Sarma adapted from the novel by Khaled Hosseini and Directed by Roxana Silbert which opens at Birmingham Rep Theatre in April 2025 before visiting Nottingham Playhouse and Leeds Playhouse.
Total fee = £4,400 (Fees are paid in line with UK Theatre/Equity rates for MRSL Grade 1)

Governance Manager (Deadline for applications: Wednesday 4 December at 10am)
We have an exciting new opportunity at The Rep, working with our Executive and Senior Leadership team as a Governance Manager. This is a new part time role which will support the implementation of the governance framework and will involve leading on statutory and mandatory returns, annual review of policies and terms of reference, monitoring against funding conditions, and general administration of the governance systems that underpin the running of The Rep as a registered charity, limited company and publicly funded organisation.
Pay: £40,983 per annum pro rata (actual salary: £24,589.80)

Casual Technicians (Stage)
The Rep is looking to expand it’s pool of casual technicians. Casual Technicians will provide technical services, install, operate and maintain staging, lighting & sound technical equipment for The Rep productions, visiting companies and conferences as required.
Casual Technicians will at times be required to flexibly support across all disciplines to ensure that all technical, maintenance and operations are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Please note: By submitting your CV you are agreeing for your details to be held in a pool. Therefore, a Rep member of staff will only be in contact if and when any availability arises.
Pay: £12 per hour, subject to overtime over 39 hours and all other additional payments in line with BECTU. Enhanced rate available for additional duties including Duty Technician. Pay rate of £12.71 per hour for enhanced duties, e.g. Duty Technician.
