Duncan Hess
Duncan Hess is part of the repertory company for Sky Comedy Rep.
Originally from Yorkshire, Duncan’s been dreaming of acting for half a century. He finally graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2018 and began his acting journey in London’s lovely pub theatres, appearing in productions in Theatre 503 and the Drayton Arms Theatre.
In between lockdowns he had a wonderful opportunity to play in his first Shakespeare, King Alonso in an outdoor production of The Tempest, and Duncan has just finished filming “Sandwich Man” with Evanna Lynch.
Most recently he ate considerable amount of cucumber sandwiches, playing Lane & Merriman in The Importance of Being Earnest (White Bear Theatre).
To be here at the Rep, involved with new writing, especially comedy, really is the stuff of which Duncan’s dreams are made.
