Sam is the recipient of the Kleban Prize, Fred Ebb Award, a Jonathan Larson Grant, the Richard Rodgers Award (for Bhangra Nation), and the ASCAP Foundation Harold Adamson and Cole Porter Awards, among others. Sam currently teaches at Harvard University and serves as a staff writer for English Egg, a Korean language training programme, for whom he’s written over 170 songs.
