JMK Trust Workshops
We have partnered with the JMK Trust for upcoming skills-based and networking opportunities and workshops. Next up we have, not one, but two workshops with the first one being hosted by the Olivier-nominated company Les Enfants Terribles with ‘The Puppetry Lab’ on Thu 24 Aug and renowned Choreographer Nadia Sohawon leads a workshop on Choreography and Storytelling on Fri 25 Aug. See below for details on both!
Workshop 1
THE PUPPETRY LAB with Les Enfants Terribles
The Puppetry Lab is designed to enable directors to explore the art of puppetry, by learning various puppetry manipulation techniques to develop movement, character and authentic suspension of disbelief. Directors will have the chance to work with different types of puppets, including found object puppets, and a basic introduction to Bunraku technique. The workshop is designed to be interactive and hands-on, allowing participants to practice and develop their puppetry skills and gain a deeper understanding of the craft and explore their creativity through this unique form of storytelling.
