Sinatra The Musical, Full Cast Revealed
Today (Wed 20 Jul) the complete cast of Sinatra The Musical is revealed. Joining the already announced Tony Award-winning Matt Doyle as Sinatra are Ana Villafañe as the movie goddess Ava Gardner and Phoebe Panaretos as Frank’s first wife, Nancy Sinatra.
Over 20 actors will grace the stage with Dawn Buckland taking on the role of Dolly Sinatra, with Vincent Riotta as Marty Sinatra, Carl Patrick as George Evans and the role of Little Nancy will be shared by Amelia Connor, Effie Gell and Isla Granville. The cast is completed by Maddy Ambus (Marlene Dietrich), Lindsay Atherton (Swing), Tyler Orphé-Baker (Nat King Cole), Greg Bernstein (Gene Kelly/Frankie Laine), Samara Casteallo (Ensemble), Helen Colby (Hedda Hopper) Alastair Crosswell (Swing), Frances Dee (Judy Garland), Alex Gibson-Giorgio (Nelson Riddle), Ryesha Higgs (Billie Holiday), Stevie Hutchinson (Lee Mortimer), Lottie Power (Lana Turner), Spin (Sammy David Jr) and John Stacey (Mitch Miller).
17 musicians will join the cast on stage for the story of one of the biggest comebacks in show business history.
This new musical based on the life and career of the legendary artist and cultural icon premieres at Birmingham Rep this autumn. Opening on Sat 23 Sep and running until Sat 28 Oct.
The action centres around a turbulent time in Sinatra’s career and personal life as news of his affair with Ava Gardner threatens to overshadow his talent.
Featuring many of the singer’s hit songs, including Fly Me To The Moon, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and That’s Life, this production will be a major entertainment experience.
