Meet The Cast of Becoming Nancy!
We’re pleased to announce the initial casting for the UK Premiere of our new musical Becoming Nancy!
Directed and Choregraphed by two-time Tony winner Jerry Mitchell, legendary director of blockbuster musicals such as Legally Blonde, Kinky Boots, The Devil Wears Prada, Hairspray, Pretty Woman: The Musical and many more – This powerful new musical about first love, friendship, finding your voice (and a little bit of punk), adapted from Terry Ronald‘s best selling novel of the same name, will run from Wed 2 Oct to Sat 2 Nov, here at The Rep.

Our cast includes: Joseph Peacock as David Starr; Joseph Vella as Maxie Boswell; Paige Peddie as Frances Bassey; Genevieve Nicole as Aunt Val and Mathew Craig as Eddie Starr with Olivier Award-winners Rebecca Trehearn as Kath Starr and Stephen Ashfield as Hamish McClarnon.
Also joining the cast is Daisy Greenwood who will star as Abigail Henson. Further cast members to be announced soon!
With a book by Elliot Davis, music by George Stiles, lyrics by Anthony Drewe, additional music and lyrics by Terry Ronald, Elliot Davis and George Stiles, directed and choregraphed by Jerry Mitchell, this ambitious and exhilarating new musical is full of feel-good nostalgia that weaves a story of family and first loves, with the courage it takes to find your own spotlight.
