Minority Report Cast Announcement
We are delighted today (04 Jan, 2024) to announce the casting for the brand-new stage premiere of Minority Report, presented by Birmingham Rep, Nottingham Playhouse, Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, and in association with Simon Friend Entertainment by arrangement with Electric Shepherd Productions.
Minority Report is a thrilling adaptation of Phillip K Dick’s iconic story, which challenges our beliefs about justice and freewill, that runs at Birmingham Rep from Fri 22 Mar to Sat 6 Apr 2024.
In 2050, neuroscientist Dame Julia Anderton is about to launch the next phase of her pioneering Pre-Crime programme, detaining people for crimes before they are committed. But when Julia is accused of pre-murder, she’s in a race against time to save herself from her own system. This innovative adaptation is by renowned writer and actor David Haig (My Boy Jack, The Good Samaritan).
The cast includes: Jodie McNee (Julia), Nick Fletcher (George), Roseanna Frascona (Anna), Nicholas Rowe (Ralph), Tanvi Virmani (David), Chrissy Brooke (Ensemble), Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister (Ensemble), Ricardo Castro (Ensemble), and Danny Collins (Ensemble).
The full creative team includes Writer David Haig, Director Max Webster, Production Designer Jon Bausor, Video Designer Tal Rosner, Lighting Designer Jessica Hung Han Yun, Composer & Sound Designer Nicola T. Chang, Movement Director Lucy Hind, Illusions Designer Richard pinner, and Casting Director Lotte Hines CDG.
