Sarah-Louise Young
Sarah-Louise Young is an actress, writer, director and renowned cabaret artist. She has appeared in the West End with Julie Madly Deeply, Fascinating Aïda, La Soirée and Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, with whom she won an Olivier Award.
Over 20 years of touring she has performed internationally, including Off Broadway and four seasons at the prestigious Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and closer to home with her solo shows, such as Cabaret Whore & The Silent Treatment.
She has won numerous awards including The Stage Award for acting and as one half of writing and performing duo, Roulston & Young, she creates bespoke songs for theatre, cabaret and private clients.
Directing credits include: Jarman, Looking For Me Friend: The Music Of Victoria Wood, The Bobby Kennedy Experience and Gertrude Lawrence: A Lovely Way To Spend An Evening.
Russell Lucas
Russell is a London-based theatremaker who creates original work and develops new takes on published text.
His projects range from the one-man show The Bobby Kennedy Experience to co-producing and directing the Theatremakers series for Digital Theatre+. He directed the global smash hit Julie Madly Deeply and the UK premieres of The Fat Man’s Wife by Tennessee Williams and The Understudy by Theresa Rebeck.
Lucas often teaches theatre making in the education sector, provides creative and professional guidance to other creators, and is a regular producer for the artist, Henry Davis. His book, 300 Thoughts for Theatremakers, is published by Nick Hern Books, and his two new shows, Charles & Diana: The Reunion Tour and Third Class, are currently touring the UK
