Debunking the Myths of a Theatre Producer

This event has passed

Join Rep Producer, Hope Ward-Brown and Fiona Bradley from China Plate for an exclusive masterclass debunking the myths of the role of a producer in theatre.

Learn how they scope and bring a project or play from page to stage, find out about freelance producing versus in-house producing, general managing, line producing and co-producing, and hear Hope reflect on some of the successes and challenges they have navigated on some of our Rep produced shows and Fiona discuss similar experiences from the perspective of an independent, touring producer.

The workshop will be part talk, part Q&A and part practical skills building, with an opportunity to flex your producing muscles and test out some of the top skills most used by producers on a daily basis.
