Join DreamArts for a 90 minute workshop looking at their process of fusing rap, through beatbox and looping, theatre and film to create an original, devised story using their current production, Love Scripted. Interspersed with a documentary film, Love Scripted follows four characters, each with their own passions, problems, hopes and dreams, as they weave through their various obstacles in search of something better. We’ll introduce you to;

• The basics of beatbox
• How to produce an record an original track on a loop pedal
• Devising and writing from a theme

Friends From Afar is our programme that offers young people the opportunity to devise an original performance and tour their work to communities around the UK presenting at venues including York Theatre Royal, The Institute of Contemporary Arts and Marylebone Theatre.
