“When we keep our head down, we miss the stars dancing above us.”
Re-imagining their OFFIE nominated show Hand Of God, Tectum Theatre bring Everybody Wants To Be Ronaldo to the Rep this Spring.
With pulsating grime beats and silky skills fighting for centre stage, Everybody Wants To Be Ronaldo explores themes of identity, set against the backdrop of Brum.
When Curtis, a 16 year-old aspiring footballer in the Villa academy doesn’t receive his professional contract, tensions boil up between him and his devoted mother. Who knew it would end up with an unforgettable encounter with the legendary Diego Maradona.
Can one night, one party and one late-great legend save Curtis from his grief?
