Set in Mississippi at the turn of the 20th century, Tennessee Williams epic play Summer and Smoke explores the doomed connection between spiritual Alma and sensual John as they switch roles but tragically miss their chance at love. Brought to you by our own The Company.

Medea

by Euripides (adapted by Ben Power)

Sun 13 & Tue 15 Jul, The House

Alice

by Laura Wade

Thu 17 & Fri 18 Jul, The House

Laura Wade’s Alice is a dark re-imagining of Lewis Carroll‘s Alice in Wonderland, exploring grief and coming-of-age as teenage Alice navigates a surreal, psychological world – taking tea with the Mad Hatter, playing a wild game of croquet at the Queen of Hearts’ court among other eccentric meetings with a host of much-loved characters – all to confront the tragic loss of her brother. Performed by The Company.

Directed by Becky Deeks and Alice Chambers.

Artwork reads Jekyll & Hyde by Evan Placey

Jekyll & Hyde

by Evan Placey

Sat 19 & Sun 20 Jul, The House

Step into the shadows of Victorian London with our Young Rep Seniors as they present Evan Placey’s bold reimagining of Jekyll & Hyde. This thrilling adaptation shifts the focus to Harriet Jekyll, the determined widow of the late Dr. Jekyll, who is set on continuing her husband’s controversial experiments. Daring, dynamic, and unapologetically bold—this is Jekyll & Hyde as you’ve never seen it before! Will you dare to step into the darkness?

Directed by Jasmin Hylton.
