Samprity Multi-Fest 2025

International Mother Language Day is a momentous occasion that celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity worldwide. Like every year, Purbanat is creating an opportunity to celebrate International Mother Language Day and linguistic diversity in our global majority-diverse city of Birmingham.

It is an immersive experience to embrace and celebrate linguistic diversity with at least 10 linguistic art groups and approximately 100 artists in one evening. They are from our consortium called OVAL (Our Voice in Art and Literature)

Purbanat invites you to reflect on the importance of preserving and promoting mother tongues as a vital aspect of global heritage and be a part of these unique challenges and celebrations.

This year, we named our event Samprity Multi-fest 2025. ‘Samprity’, means harmony and we aim to promote the preservation and celebration of languages using the arts and creative activities.

You can be part of this participatory event where different linguistic community art groups showcase their presentation to celebrate linguistic diversity.
