Tales till Ramadan Family Workshop

This event has passed

Khayaal Theatre Company‘s Tales till Ramadan production invites you to take part in free audience engagement workshops on February 13th, 14th, and 15th, open to all age groups (please note that the show is recommended for ages 8+)

Led by Serena B. Slack-Robins, a PhD researcher from Manchester Metropolitan University, these interactive sessions will explore the universal theme of sincerity through traditional storytelling and drama-based exercises. Serena is currently writing a thesis on Khayaal Theatre Company‘s work with British Muslim communities, and your participation will help inform her research.

The workshop will also open up discussions about your theatre experiences—what draws you to productions like Tales till Ramadan, what you’d like to see in the future, and any challenges that may affect your theatre attendance.

As a thank-you for taking part, each family or group will receive a complimentary copy of Riding a Donkey Backwards: Wise and Foolish Tales of Mulla Nasruddin (while stocks last).
