Skills-Building Workshops for Facilitators

The Rep is offering a series of skills-building sessions for freelance facilitators working across the West Midlands. These fun, collaborative meet ups are led by practitioners from The Rep and professional facilitators working across the West Midlands. They provide a playful space to develop skills and approaches to facilitating groups creatively, and enable freelance facilitators to connect with each other, build networks and broaden their understanding of facilitation.

There will be a focus on theatre-making techniques, and the opportunity for facilitators from a range of different artistic backgrounds and specialisms to take part, learn and develop new ideas to take away and use in their own work. Participants are all encouraged to share games, activities, insights and pedagogy from their own practice, discuss approaches to working in community settings, and will be able to learn from each other in a supportive and friendly environment.

Sessions are for freelancers at any stage in their career. Places are limited, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
