Work Experience
Applications will open in January 2025 for students wanting to take part in the 2025 Work Experience programme at The Rep, which will run from 16th to 20th June 2025.
Our week long work experience is aimed at supporting Year 9, 10 and 11’s who are considering a career in the Arts and want to have a better understanding of what working in a theatre might be like.
The Work Experience week will include:
- Opportunities to meet theatre professionals, practitioners and creatives within the industry
- Gain insight into how a successful producing theatre works behind the scenes
- First-hand experience in the broad range of careers theatre has to offer
- A performance opportunity in The Door, which will include onstage and back stage roles!

We understand that schools generally have set dates for work experience. We advise you approach your school about changing your work experience dates before applying.
Please note, we only have the capacity to run work experience during the dates stated above, and will not be able to accommodate any other requests for placements.
